ABOUT CHAARQ

Huh? CHAARQ?

Pronounced as "charc", it came from the word "charcoal". Essentially, CHAARQ is "white charcoal" originating from Japan, and locally it is known as binchotan.

However, it is not exactly white. It gets its name from the white powder craftsmen used to cool it rapidly when taken out of the kiln. Our first encounter with binchotan was back in 2019 and we bought it to reduce fatigue due to stress and one of our family member's frequent dizzy spells due to less-than-ideal blood circulation.

In late 2021, we decided to curate and create products centered on delivering the beneficial properties of binchotan backed by science. So, we sent water samples to accredited testing agencies and use consumer-grade instruments to illustrate differences before and after using CHAARQ.

Ultimately, we hope with CHAARQ, we can help more people to attain holistic wellness!
